The production company Intromúsica organized the Coca-Cola Music Experience 2017 festival, implementing a sustainability strategy aimed at reducing environmental impact and increasing the involvement of all stakeholders surrounding the festival. These efforts earned the festival the SUSTAINABLE EVENT certification from Eventsost, a recognition granted exclusively to events that meet strict sustainability criteria.

The Wizink Center in Madrid was chosen as the venue for the 2017 edition of the festival. Intromúsica was responsible for the design, organization, and execution of the event according to these sustainable principles.

Key sustainable actions undertaken during the festival included:

  • Use of local suppliers and workers within a 100 km radius.
  • Optimization of production team mobility.
  • Collaboration with social inclusion projects, such as Proyecto Gira Jóvenes.
  • Selective waste separation and recycling, with designated collection points for attendees.
  • Strict control of labor and safety conditions for all workers and suppliers.

  • Involvement of the entire business environment in the event's sustainability, including clients, suppliers, workers, attendees, and the venue.

With this certification, Coca-Cola Music Experience positions itself as one of the pioneering festivals in integrating more sustainable practices.
